  BCA programme is offered from 1998.

• 3. What is the difference between computer application and IT?

  In Computer application students will learn the fundamentals of different programming languages, linear and discrete mathematics, and software design and development. Information Technology is the study, design, development, implementation, support or management of computer-based information systems, particularly software applications and computer hardware. IT deals with the use of electronic computers and computer software to convert, store, protect process, transmit, and securely retrieve information.

• 4. What is the eligibility of the programme?

  Student must have passed Std. 12th Commerce/Science/Vocational stream of GSEB or its equivalent at 1st attempt..

  • Admission process will be online.
  • Self-attested copy of all original documents should be attached with passport size photograph.
• 7. When will admission process begin?

  Admission process will begin as soon as the result of 12th standard is declared.

• 8. Is there any mechanism of 'spot admission'?

  Spot admission will be given to candidate who has passed 12th examination at 1st attempt in Science/Commerce/Vocational Stream.

• 9. Is there any quota for SC/ST and PwD candidate?

  Yes. These quotas are as per the norms of Government of Gujarat.

• 10. What consists in the syllabus of the institute?

  Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) is adopted. It includes HTML5, jQuery, XML, Mobile Application Development, MVC based web application development etc.

• 11. What are the future prospects that can be opted after studying in this programme?

  Students can develop their career as Web developer, Mobile App developer, Web designer, Freelancer, Software consultant, and Entrepreneur in industry. They can also indulge in higher studies.

• 12. Is internet facility available?

  Yes. The whole campus is Wi-Fi connected with 24 X 7 free internet facilities of 200 Mbps speed including hostel.

• 13. Are textbooks provided to students?

  Yes. Book bank facility is available in which text books for almost all the subjects for a semester is availed to individual student. Additional three library coupons are provided for issuing reference books other than text books.

• 14. What is the timing of college?

  Timing of college is 8:20 AM to 3:30 PM.

  We are having highly qualified faculties with unique mix of excellent academic record and experience.

• 16. What development opportunities are available to students besides class room teaching?

• 17. What teaching methodologies are adopted?

  Innovative teaching methodology with the blend of presentations, model/chart preparation, group discussion, projects and seminars are used to imbibe problem solving approach.

• 18. Which assessment scheme is adopted?

  Each of the subjects has a scheme of 40% internal and 60% as external. Internal assessment consists of Quiz, Unit Test etc. at regular interval. External examination is conducted by UTU.

• 19. What are the computational facilities available?

  30+ high configured servers, 1000+ computers are available in the laboratories. Student shall allocated separate machine for performing practical work.

• 20. How are the slow-learners assisted?

  Student's personal counselling and remedial classes are organized to assist slow-learners and to improve their performance.

• 21. What is the process for refund of fee in case if admission is cancelled?
